Annotation

The article covers the issues of implementing integrated and competence-based approaches in education, including interaction and mutual supplementation in the form of integrated competence-based system. Analysis of functions, concepts, types of integration provide for conclusions that development of key, general and subject-related competences is impossible without integration of knowledge, skills and activities within the given competence. Further development of integration in education acquires a new impulse, a new way of development within the framework of competence-based approach.
