Annotation

The article deals with the concept "success" treated as ability and readiness to reach the purposes timely, corresponding with universal laws of life in the society. Features of western and eastern culture of understanding the concept “success” are revealed. The author mentions megatrends of the modern world influencing success of the person, such as commercialism, information, globalization, duality of material welfare and spiritual harmony, etc. Success is considered as a set of correct habits, enabling to consider both modern lines of the world development, and timeless spiritually-moral life orientation, harmony of material and spiritual aspirations, value of personal performance treated as highest priority.
