DEVELOPING PERSONAL SAFETY OF TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

Annotation

The article treats value of safety as global value of the mankind, thus, the authors prove it relevant to prepare experts capable of biosphere-compatible activity and making conformable decisions in the system referred to as “person – gadgets – nature”. The article touches on the principles for developing personal safety of students; inner characteristic features of pedagogical process of students’ personal safety development; technology of developing personal safety of students basing on competence approach. The authors reveal the concept of personal competence in terms of life safety including cognitive, explicit, connotation, congruent characteristics; state the purposes and structure of the discipline “Life Safety” and elective course “Personal safety”.
