SEARCH FOR SUBSTANTIAL ASPECTS OF LEADERSHIP IN FOREIGN PSYCHOLOGICAL THEORIES

Annotation

The article touches upon some issues of leadership raised in foreign psychology. The author analyses basic concepts and categories developed as part of the given direction. The author pays special attention to the fact that raised research interest to substantial aspects of leadership promoted creation of some theories dealing with the origin of leadership: features theories; five-factorial model of personal features; system theory of leadership, etc. According to the author, existing ambiguity in the approaches to the concept leadership reveals real approach to studying the given phenomenon, diversity of real forms of its functioning and, accordingly, possible aspects of its study.
