Annotation

The article deals with some features of formation and development of the system of university preparation of pedagogical staff in the field of geographical education. The author describes some factors causing organizational-structural transformations of university preparation of geography teachers in different historical periods. The basic models of preparation of a geography teacher, realized by the Russian universities are allocated. The author comes to the conclusion that modern organization of geography teachers preparation as part of additional education is logic development of integration model of pedagogical education at Russian university.
