Annotation

The article deals with an unusual aspect of culture based approach to education in the form of nationally focused education. On the basis of the analysis of ethnic cultures features and various approaches to working out the content and technologies of education, the authors reveal the concept, meaning, features and importance of nationally focused education as means of preserving and developing ethnic cultures, forming ethnic identity and national character in youth as primary values of a person. As a result of the research, the authors suggest approximate content, verbal and nonverbal means and technologies adequate to mental characteristics of world perception of different people.
