ATTITUDE TO HEALTH AS A VALUE AS SUBJECT OF SCIENTIFIC REFLECTION IN NATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

Annotation

The article shows that in psychological science there exists certain polysemy of treating attitude to health which is caused by distinctions in understanding its intrinsic features. Attitude to health as a value is characterized as internal mechanism of behavior regulation based on high subjective importance of health and its comprehension as precondition for reaching life objectives. The carried out by the author analysis of scientific resources has shown that attitude to health as a value is part of priority value orientations of a personality. The article interprets researches by some national authors who consider health as intelligent value which allows a person to achieve self-realization in a wide range of life aspects. The article describes and compares components of attitude to health as a value revealed in researches by national authors.
