Annotation

The article deals with organization of independent work of cadets of military higher school in terms of competence-based models of education. The structure of competence of the military expert is revealed, principles for developing ability of cadets for independent work are formulated. The author offers the model of selfeducational program characterized by pedagogical system graph. The article also provides methodological principles adjusting functioning of pedagogical system of independent work of military higher school. Independent work is considered in the article at procedural level.
