Annotation

The article deals with the experience of planning and arranging professional practice in Institute of Architecture and Arts of Southern Federal University. Ac­cording to the authors, practice makes the most important part of the process of training. It is planned as unified process with gradual increase in work complexity. Educational and professional practice helps students to consolidate achievements and skills acquired as part of learning process and get some personal experience. Teachers’ board estimates the results of students’ practical experience. Theoretical knowledge, practical skills and personal experience incorporate and form professional competence of an expert in the field of suit design and art designing of a suit.
