CHANGE OF FUNCTIONAL ROLE OF A PUPIL IN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS UNDER INFLUENCE OF “LABOR SCHOOL” IDEAS IN NATIONAL PEDAGOGY OF 1920S

Васильев Павел Владимирович

Annotation

The article raises the issue of continuity of national pedagogy of pre-revolutionary and first post-revolutionary decades. One of the aspects of this continuity was theoretical and practical development of “labor school” ideas which influenced the functional role of pupils in educational process. The subject position of a pupil was strengthened. The author considers views of leading national teachers and psychologists of 1920s of the last century - P.P. Blonsky, L.S. Vygotsky, A.P. Boltunov, N.K. Krupskaya, A.V. Lunacharsky, S.T. Shatsky - on the purposes, contents and methods of labor school. It is shown that these views were centered on an idea of stating pupils in the position of the highest-grade subject of labor, educational, research activity. As a whole, prominent feature of post-revolutionary decades was that for the first time many new pedagogical ideas were approved and introduced into mass school practice.
