TEACHING MAGISTRACY STUDENTS A METHOD OF “LADLING OUT” SENSE FROM NEWSPAPER TEXTS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Annotation

The article shows that as students lack necessary skills of work with a foreign language text in not profile magistracy, the method of “ladling out” sense of the information becomes quite relevant. Efficiency criteria of the given method, accord­ing to the author, are complete “ladling out” and depth of immersing into the text. Newspaper text belongs to a special genre; it means that “ladling out” sense of the information by a student occurs on the basis of his/her personal estimation and likelihood forecasting. At an initial stage of teaching the above mentioned method to students, emotional stop and semantic guess, promoting complete perception of the text, can be very helpful and lead to better understanding.
