GENDER FEATURES OF PERSONALITY OF PEOPLE WITH DEEP PATHOLOGY OF VISUAL ANALYZER

Annotation

The article is devoted to research of psychological features of people with deep pathology of visual analyzer. The article covers some gender aspects of blind people and visually impaired individuals based on materials of empirical research of adults having I or II group of physical inability due to poor sight. The given research studied such aspects of physically challenged people’s personalities as motivation, character, uneasiness, neurotization level, complex of psychological protection, mechanisms of defect compensation and so forth. The author considers a system of constructs referred to as «Me and the World» of individuals, their attitude to themselves and social environment.
