INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL AND ITS REALIZATION IN THE SPHERE OF SEA ENGINEERING EDUCATION

Annotation

The article covers the factors that determine innovative pedagogical potential, the reasons interfering into its wide realization in the sphere of sea education. The authors dwell on the ways to eliminate the impact of these reasons and provide complex nature of the system of sea education. The article also touches upon prom­ising directions for reforming the sphere of sea engineering education as a whole and modernization in teaching foreign languages for specific purposes in particular. The authors prove it relevant to create manuals of an innovative type in higher sea educational establishments. The questions connected with mastering professional terminology are also considered, the technology of experimental training and control over the process of mastering professional lexicon are revealed. Finally, the authors present the results of forming experiment.
