Annotation

The article deals with globalization tendencies in the sphere of education. It is proved that focus on active inclusion of education into market relations in modern conditions of Russia means its aggressively commercialized nature and pragmatism that actually leads to elimination of the state from financing educational structures and forming social order in the sphere of education. Globalization influence on education, which is seen as reproduction of the unified models of global culture and further distancing from cultural wealth of national culture, is threatening because it might not only lead to losing unique educational technologies of national cul­ture, but also narrow the role of educational system in reproduction of the Russian cultural identity.
