DIFFERENTIATION OF TEACHING GIFTED CHILDREN AT SCHOOLS IN CANADA
Annotation
The author analyzes importance of taking into account specific features and leading aptitudes of gifted children, which include: higher level of thinking efficiency development, independence, self-sufficiency, leadership skills. These issues make important background for teaching gifted children as the purpose of their training is to improve knowledge, skills of a child, to assist in mastering curriculums and increasing the level of knowledge, skills of each pupil separately, to make knowledge of pupils deeper and broader, proceeding from their interests and special abilities.The article mentions main directions of gifted pupils’ differentiation at schools of Canada: according to progress in studies, on a level of general abilities, field-specific differentiation.Key words
