EVOLUTION OF IDEAS ON DEPRIVATION IN PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE

Annotation

The article presents a brief historical outline of scientific reflection on the issue of deprivation. Deprivation arises due to lack or loss of major components that provide system of genesis and functioning in personal development. The authors provide possible criteria for classification of the phenomena under study and describe its inner features as specific conditions of consciousness. It is shown that usually a person does not have “pure”, separate kinds of deprivation. Different kinds of deprivation are not only interwoven, but also coordinated and interdependent in a complex way. In this respect, periods of forming neurological contours of personal consciousness are the periods of risk.
