Annotation

The article includes the review of the book by V.V. Shogan “Memories about the Future. Prospects of Education in the Third Millennium”. The author analyses the logic of assumptions, methodological, processual and regulatory principles of education. The author also touches upon components of the content, means, methods and forms of education in the third millennium. The author of the article also specifies some ideas he disagrees with the author of the reviewed book on. On the whole, the author of the article gives a positive evaluation to the reviewed paper and emphasizes its significant contribution to pedagogical science. Special attention is given to methodological principle of co-existence and description of the unified educational space. Intentional instrumentalism principle is outlined in detail. The author of the article emphasizes close connections between philosophy, history of pedagogy, modern pedagogical science and futurological image of the third millennium education.
