Annotation

The article is devoted to the research into the problem of interaction between culture and values of a person and is based on the analysis of a book by a Canadian scientist Paul Shafer entitled “Cultural Person”. The article provides detailed description of such concepts as “person”, “culture” and “cultural person”. The author reveals psychological technology of developing key values, based on associative communications of a person and one’s daily life events. Special attention is given to studying the heart matter of a cultural person in the context of leading concepts of culture: philosophical, artistic, humanistic, anthropological and cosmological.
