HISTORICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ANALYSIS OF VARIATIVE MODELS OF UNDERSTANDING HEALTH OF PERSONALITY AS SOCIO-CULTURAL PHENOMENON

Annotation

The article provides historical analysis of variative models of understanding personal health as socio-cultural phenomenon. It also deals with the criteria for revealing socio-cultural models of understanding personal health. The author reconstructs interpretations of the category “health” in different historical periods. As a result of the carried out research, the author distinguishes between ratio-centered, norm-centered and axiologically-centered models of understanding personal health and describes their key points, such as leading ideas, definitions of health, principles of improvement, health preserving pedagogical technologies.
