METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE AS THE BASIS FOR TEACHER’S INNOVATIVENESS

Annotation

The article deals with the concept of methodological competence as readiness to deeply analyze facts of reality, pedagogical phenomena and processes, ability to master a set of scientific ideas, concepts, theories as well as purposeful activity on organization of personal innovations, moving ahead in professional development and perfection. The author describes the key concepts defined by national and foreign researches. Tendencies of the present which influence professional work of the teacher are shown: inner and outer crises, information, globalization, fast change of technologies. The urgency of innovative activity of a teacher is proved in the article. Interrelation between methodological competence and innovativeness of teachers is also considered.
