The author considers theoretical and methodological approaches to sociological research of appropriating legal behavior. This analysis traces evolution of transition from administrative and ideological paradigms of law to the concept of the law without responsibility, caused by the nature of current institutional and structural changes in the Russian society. According to the author, socially-structural changes in the Russian society have caused drop-out of certain groups from the world space or the attitude to law as to the way to satisfy corporate or group interests. The author states subjective legal motivation of the Russians focused on law as a tool value which has certain importance in relation to other groups but does not operate in social microenvironment.
