SPECIFIC FEATURES OF TEACHING TECHNOLOGIES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MULTILINGUAL COMPETENCY OF TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

Annotation

Multilingual competency, being a component of sociocultural competency, is specific in the way that it assumes well-developed ability of a student to participate in cross-cultural business or scientific communication with the use of three or more foreign languages. The author of the article states that multilingual competency is developed by means of certain teaching technologies. They are chosen, first of all, proceeding from psychological features and motivational and emotional preferences of students of engineering specialties which adds special sense to academic process at a technical college.
