PEDAGOGICAL BACKGROUND OF DEVELOPING HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Annotation

The article deals with development of healthy way of life of preschool children. The authors dwell on the regional component of physical education of preschool children. This component ensures value-conscious attitude to health which is presented by the author’s program “I am a healthy child”. The authors describe culture-congruent game technology of mastering norms and rules of healthy way of life by preschool children which integrates means, methods and forms of both collaborative and independent activity of children. The paper covers principles and contents of health-preserving environment of a preschool educational organization. Criteria and parameters of healthy way of life of children of senior preschool age are stated: children’s ideas about ways of preserving their own health, about norms and rules of healthy way of life; simple ways of self-control; skills required for rendering first aid to oneself and others; displaying the need to learn oneself and one’s abilities.
