CREATING INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR TEACHING TOLERANCE TO PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN BY A TEACHER OF GENERAL ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Annotation

The article raises the problem of creating effective conditions for co-education of primary schoolchildren with special educational needs and normally developing pupils. The author comes out with the assumption that co-education of primary schoolchildren with special educational needs with normally developing peers will reduce the distance between them. According to the author, it also promotes tolerant attitude from both sides. The article describes principles of the organization of educational process in inclusive environment, the concept of professional competence of a teacher in terms of teaching tolerance to children. Criteria and parameters of professional competence of a teacher in the sphere of tolerance are formulated. The author offers some effective ways to arrange inclusive environment for teaching tolerance to children with special educational needs.
