CONCEPTUAL APPROACH TO SYSTEMATIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL DEFORMATIONS

Рогов Евгений Иванович

Annotation

Despite a significant number of psychological researches of professional deformations in different jobs, they are mostly analyzed in a phenomenological way. There are practically no classifications capable to embrace all the destructive displays of professional activity. Having carried out historical analysis of available research works, the author offers to systematize professional deformations according to the concept of professionalization worked out by him. Accordingly, they should be divided into: deformations of personality, activity and interaction. Though the author admits that deformations of interaction in humanitarian field can be included in deformations of activity type, he feels sure that their specificity and great role in development of an expert make it possible to consider them as a separate group. This approach will enable psychologists to select and use techniques for preventive maintenance and correction of professional deformations more adequately.
