SPECIFIC METHODS FOR CORRECTION OF EMOTIONAL PRESSURE OF ONCOLOGICAL PATIENTS IN POST-CRISIS PERIOD

Annotation

The author of the article states that in post-crisis period the emotional pressure of oncological patients aged 50-60 is directly connected with their negative attitude to ageing processes and low level of meaningful interpretation of the essence of the disease. Eventually, it might lead to neurotic disorders and depressions as well as to various deformations of personality. Methods of emotional pressure correction are aimed at normalization of psychological protection, inclusion of the patient into “meaningful activity” (creative activity) and valuable experience. The article proves that the quality of experience in post-crisis period in difficult life situations depends on the level of development of meaningful sphere of a person who suffers from cancer. The author of the article feels sure that situations connected with loss of life perspective and occurrence of “existential vacuum” of patients with low level of meaningful development, who experience neurotic disorders and depressio
