Annotation

The article looks at the phenomenon of the educational foresight as a systematic long-term forecast of the competences necessary for a specialist. Foresight projects look at the future of the educational process and take into account expert opinions of all the people interested in the development of education. Basing on the results of the foresight research in Russia and abroad the authors analyse prospects of higher education development.
