Annotation

The article is devoted to the competence based approach in the ecological education of catering specialists. The research work is aimed at finding ways of raising the level of catering specialists’ environmental awareness and ensuring their place in the competitive labour market. The author suggests a combination of basic professional ecological competencies of future specialists working in the area, a competences developing algorithm and competence diagnostics recommendations.
