Annotation

The article describes the experience of Kamchatka State University named after Vitus Bering of creating the regional system of additional continuous education. On the one hand, this system is supposed to become the foundation for preservation and consolidation of continuity between various education levels. On the other, it can be seen as a resource for preparation and retraining of highly qualified staff for various branches of economy and sociocultural sphere of the region. The article covers realization of the regional system of additional continuous education of modular type which is aimed at providing continuity of educational programs. The system of additional continuous education includes a wide range of successive educational programs (the program created for preschool children, school students, school leavers, university students, working people, pensioners and physically disabled people). Regional educational system made it possible to create integrative educational programs
