PSYCHOGENETIC FEATURES OF AGGRESSIVE AND HOSTILE BEHAVIOR STRATEGY OF TEENAGERS AND YOUTH OF DIFFERENT ETHNIC ORIGIN

Annotation

The article covers various approaches to the concept of aggression, large number of which proves that this phenomenon is a complicated mechanism and its nature is rather ambiguous. The authors give a short review of the researches devoted to genetic grounds of aggressive behavior, such as: influences of serotonin and dopaminergic neurally mediated systems, testosterone, the influence of environmental factors as well as social and economic status. Interdisciplinary molecular, genetic and psychological research of 285 individual aged 12–19 was carried out by the authors. As for psychological tools, researches used Buss– Durkee Inventory which is considered to be one of the most reliable techniques for studying aggression. The received results were processed by statistical software PSPP 0.8.5. The article reveals that among genetic polymorphisms which determine the risk of aggressive and hostile behavior the greatest role belongs to low-active option of the gene of monoamine oxidase enzym
