ETHNIC TOLERANCE AS THE DETERMINING FACTOR IN DEVELOPING POSITIVE CHILDREN-PARENTAL RELATIONS
Annotation
According to the author, family is an important element of social environment. It shapes effective mechanisms of penetration of the psychology of the nation into consciousness, inner world of individuals. Its influence is defined by specific aspects of ethno-national space surrounding a family. The article describes some factors which shape children-parental relations. The problem of children-parental relations is one of the topical directions of psychological science and practice nowadays. In the context of greater value of a family in society, higher requirements to the quality of family functions and preservation of its developmental potential, deep scientific consideration of the factors which have impact on children-parental relations becomes crucial. Ethnic tolerance in children-parental relations is seen as the peculiar projection of a family into the space of ethnic tolerance functioning at the level of society.
