ADOPTING ERGONOMIC APPROACH IN ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT

Annotation

The article provides findings of the research into the content of pedagogical ergonomics, creation of conditions for adopting ergonomic approach in educational process. Increasing efficiency and quality of training, versatile development of the personality and preservation of health of academic process participants in the context of information and education environment are among the education objectives which can't be reached without solving some ergonomic problems which hinder improvement of academic process. The authors define three directions of ergonomics: physical, cognitive and organizational. The great role of pedagogical ergonomics in academic process is revealed. The article argues that ergonomic approach is crucial for ensuring effective functioning of the system “teacher – teaching means – student – academic setting”.
