CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION IN THE MULTIETHNIC SPACE OF MGIMO UNIVERSITY AS THE FACTOR OF NATIONAL TENSENESS PREVENTION

Annotation

The author of the article claims that globalization and the related expansion of cross-cultural interaction require analysis of national specific features, cultural distinctions and at the same time integration of the people of different countries in terms of international relations. The author states that the developed modern multiethnic educational space has become a common and typical setting for life of modern students in the majority of countries all over the world. One cannot but agree that the increasing flow of foreign students to international universities and their cross-cultural interaction means intense “mix” of their national cultures more than before. This issue directly concerns MGIMO, one of the authoritative Russian universities, where foreign students come from more than 62 countries.
