THE PROBLEM OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS WITH THEIR PEERS

Annotation

The article provides theoretical analysis of interpersonal relations of primary school pupils with their peers. The author defines the concept “interpersonal rela-tions”, features and types of interpersonal relations of primary school students in collective. The article also covers the results of empirical research aimed at the study of features of interpersonal relations of primary school students with peers. As for the main objectives of the research, the author mentions stating sociometric status of primary school students and identification of the level of development of their communicative qualities and skills according to different sociometric statuses. The data obtained by the researcher were analyzed by employing methods of mathematical statistics which allowed revealing general and specific communicative skills and abilities peculiar to primary school pupils in the structure of their interpersonal relations with peers.
