STEP-BY-STEP USE OF INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING TO SHAPE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT
Annotation
The article considers the main requirements that foreign affairs specialists and MGIMO graduates should meet in the sphere of international relations. The author also states the significance of professional language teaching as an essential part of their professional preparation. The author analyzes the structure of the communicative competence, its subcompetences, defines the notion of interactive technologies, and considers their different types. The paper also focuses on the advantages of step-by-step application of interactive technologies in teaching English to students who major in political science and international relations.Key words
