Dynamics of patriotic education of high school students in the context of focus on social initative and active position

Annotation

According to the paper, the issue of development of patriotic education of high school students in the context of focus on social initiative and active position is not sufficiently studied at present and demands further researches in pedagogical science. The authors of the article generalize practical experience of schools of the Republic of Dagestan and show the dynamics of patriotic education of seniors. The authors draw the conclusion that love and devotion to the country, i.e. patriotism, is the deep quality of citizens necessary for safety of the country and development of the national culture. The existing pedagogical problems connected with patriotic education of younger generations can be solved taking into account the principles and traditions of culture of the people who live within the country.
