Annotation

Achievement of good results by athletes on the modern sports arena, especially in elite sport, depends on the chosen and applied means and control methods. Management of training process allows enhancing sports results, adjusting efficient communication between “an athlete – complex research groups – coaching staff”. According to the paper, educational and training process directly depends on the quality of control and effective management. At the moment, traditional operating control is commonly used. In order to meet modern requirements to the contents and structure of sports activity, it is necessary to use the complex control which includes certain subtypes: medical, psychosomatic and pedagogical. The authors argues that the leading role in this case belongs to pedagogical control by means of which it is possible to introduce changes into training process, based on the individual data of each athlete, with the further purpose of achieving good performance at competitions.
