THE STRUCTURE OF FOREIGN-LANGUAGE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS MAJORING IN POLITICAL SOCIOLOGY AND FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Annotation

In the article the author considers development of communicative competence as the main objective of teaching a foreign language at higher school. The author covers the main requirements to training experts in political sociology and foreign affairs, in particular, to the level of foreign language acquisition and requirements imposed by FGOS (Federal State Educational Standard). The author defines the specific concept of foreign-language competence of a specialist in the field of political sociology and foreign affairs and, based on the structural analysis of communicative competence described in a number of works by the national and foreign scientists, offers certain multi-component structure of the competence of political scientists and foreign affairs specialists.
