Annotation

The article deals with the national experience of implementing inclusive education. The author analyses integrated education of children with health disorders in the Soviet Union as well as positive and negative experience of foreign countries on the issue under study. The paper also covers the regulatory and legal background of implementation of inclusive education in Russia. The author pays close attention not only to educational policy of Russia in teaching physically challenged and disabled children, but also the restrictions that hinder development of inclusive processes in the national education at the present stage of its development.
