THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF SHAPING THE CULTURE OF SPORTS SELF-IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH

Annotation

The work raises modern problems of shaping the sports culture of students self-improvement. The authors note lack of the standardized theory, methodology and evidence-based concept enabling to solve them. The article analyzes results of the conducted researches on mastering by university students special competences which are stipulated in the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education of the third generation. The authors specify that students are not ready to carry out future professional activity on improvement of the population and have low motivation for physical and functional development of the body. The conceptual methodological approaches to development of the culture of health based on knowledge, skills of sports self-improvement are offered in the paper. Proceeding from the revealed contradictions, the authors come to the conclusion about an urgent need to carry out further researches on development of technologies of culture of sports self-improvement in univers
