Annotation

The article analyses the significance of integration of pedagogical consulting into the system of language teachers training. The author stresses that it promotes the development of professional autonomy of the teacher. The article describes the main characteristics of the teacher as a consultant: capacity for reflection, pedagogical support and development of the learner’s autonomy.
