Annotation

The aim of the article is to study the peculiarities of the mother’s attitude to children of the opposite sexes during the pregnancy period. The author sets the following objectives: to carry out a theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem in question and to evaluate the results of the empirical research. The author comes to the following conclusion: the attitude to children of the opposite sexes is a system of interconnected elements determined by the gender factors. One of the most important stages of its development is pregnancy.
