THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO CADETS’ PATRIOTIC EDUCATION IN MILITARY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION DEFENCE MINISTRY

Annotation

The article explains the topicality of the problem of patriotism development as the basis of consolidation of the state, society and army and lists the principal causes of the imperative need for patriotism revival. The author gives definitions of the concepts “patriotism” and “military-professional patriotism” and theoretically substantiates the necessity of military schools cadets’ patriotism formation. The author also suggests certain ways of improving patriotic education in the situation of the Russian Federation Armed Forces reformation and shows the hierarchical structure of patriotism. The given article presents the results the author comes to in the course of his scientific research.
