PECULIARITIES OF THE TEACHER’S PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE COURSE OF ADAPTATION TO PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Annotation

In the given article the author reveals certain peculiarities of the teacher’s personality development in the course of adaptation to professional activities. The basic difficulties of the adaptation period of beginning teachers, mechanisms and factors of adaptation are given thoroughly analysed. As a result of the research the author has come to the conclusion that the essence the teacher’s personality development during the adaptation to professional activities consists in overcoming the basic contradiction of this period, namely, the discrepancy of the requirements to pedagogical activities of beginning teachers and their real professional potential.
