Annotation

The given article focuses on certain aspects of information and technological culture development in the college educational environment. The author proves appropriateness of the concept “information and technological culture” and reveals the components of information and technological culture. The information and technological culture ingredients are to form a system of knowledge in students’ consciousness which can provide them with new personal qualities necessary for their successful professional activities. The process of students’ training is considered to be interaction of two systems: the system of information and technological culture reflecting individual characteristics of the subject and the system of the college cultural and educational environment reflecting external conditions of this process.
