Annotation

The development of the student’s polylingual picture of the world in the educational establishment depends on major tendencies of the modern society development. In polycultural areas of the country Russian students speak foreign languages, the Russian language being their native tongue. The student’s polylingual picture of the world is represented by the knowledge of general spheres of life such as “Myself”, “Others”, “Professional culture”. This knowledge is influenced by the Russian language and foreign languages and expressed through world-outlook values determining professional behavior. The development of the student’s polylingual picture of the world systematizes academic and scientific skills in the process of vocational training. Translation from one language into another, interpretation of the meanings of scientific facts and natural laws develops their own conceptual system.
