Annotation

The article presents the concept and strategy of introducing disciplines aimed at schoolchildren’s spiritual and moral culture development into the main syllabus of a comprehensive school. The author stresses that the main purpose of these school subjects is to develop the Russian identity in schoolchildren imparting the knowledge of Russian values and national educational ideal to them. The article also reveals the structure and content of the course.
