Annotation

The article is devoted to the technologies which help to develop different kinds of competence in the process of studying foreign languages in higher educational institutions which prepare non-linguists. The requirements to the given technologies and peculiarity of their use in teaching-learning process are described. The concrete examples of technologies, developing discourse and lingua-rhetorical competences are given. The author also suggests the classification of the linguistic integration reflecting the important approaches and characteristics of lingua-didactics and methods of teaching foreign languages. The article makes a great contribution into the development of Pedagogy. It is recommended for post-graduates and teachers of foreign languages.
