Annotation

The article highlights the problem of strategic management of pedagogical education development in South Federal University, which is within the sphere of particular state responsibility. The system of continuous education is the source of successful and effective social development providing cultural reproduction and country innovative development. The organization of teacher training on the basis of modern content and technology of teaching and upbringing becomes the most important condition of solving the problem of educational quality improvement on all levels formulated by President of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev. The article underlines the specific character of university pedagogical education which lies in its fundamental nature, universality, humanitarian and scientific-research orientation.
