Annotation

The meaning of the term “orientation” correlates in the article with the category “pedagogical interaction,” which accentuates in this context the use of assistance and support mechanism. Professional choice is regarded not only as a personal choice, but also as a long-term life project supported by parents, teachers and society as a whole. Social determination of professional choice allows including professional orientation into a wider category of “social orientation”, where educational orientation is considered to be one of its constituents. Scientific and theoretical fundamentals of the system of professional orientation of a person are defined in the context of continuous education model implementation.
